How to add Facebook & Instagram private messages and direct messages to your coverage [BrandBastion Lite]
This guide is useful for BrandBastion Lite users that had assets added before the Direct Message integration.
Step 1 - Go to Add Assets
First things first, log in to your BrandBastion account and head over to My Account | Assets | Add Assets (or just click this link)
Step 2 - Login with Facebook
Once you're there, click on "Login with Facebook" and accept the new permissions. We require Instagram to manage messages and Page messaging assets to get started.
In the pop-up Facebook will open click "Continue".
Make sure to use the same user account that added the assets in the first place.
Step 3 - Enable DM Monitoring on each asset
Next, head over to asset management and select the Facebook and Instagram organic pages you want to monitor private messages for.
Click on "Edit" and toggle on the "Monitor private messages" option.
Step 4 - Start replying to your private messages
Now, to find the DMs, simply use the message type filter and select "Private messages" to see all the private messages that have been monitored.
And that's it! By following these simple steps, you can add Facebook and Instagram private messages to your coverage and take your social media management to the next level.
